Semaglutide

What is Semaglutide?

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 agonist prescription drug that can assist with the health barriers that often come with type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, and obesity. However, Semaglutide is also one of the most safe and effective drugs for long term weight loss for people who are not diabetic. It is administered through weekly injections that patients can do themselves at home or have done in the spa by a licensed provider. Semaglutide aids in both appetite reduction and increasing feelings of fullness, making it easier for people to lose weight, where patients can expect to lose between 15% -20% of their body weight.

Who is an ideal candidate?

Anyone who has 10 pounds or more to lose and is in good health.

How does the program work?

This is a 13-week program that consists of an initial 30-minute consultation where your weight loss goals will be discussed, your general health history will be reviewed, blood work will be done, diet guidance given, and a prescription for Semaglutide will be given. The prescription will be sent to your home by a compounding pharmacy and clients can choose to self-inject or return to the spa weekly to have it administered ($25). You will also have regular communication with the Nurse Practitioner, and monthly follow-up visits are encouraged for weigh-in and review, at an additional $25. Weekly vitamin injections are encouraged to enhance the program and keep clients feeling their best during their journey and are an additional $30.

Tirzepatide

What is Tirzepatide?

Tirzepatide is a glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor and GLP-1 receptor agonist for diabetes management, with off-label usage for chronic weight management. Like Semaglutide, it is administered once a week, via injection under the skin.

Tirzepatide works by mimicking the GLP-1 and GIP hormones that are naturally secreted by the intestine after a meal, which prompts insulin secretion. This helps the patient feel full on less food and slows the passage of food through the digestive tract

How is Tirzepatide different from Semaglutide?

Tirzepatide is a different compound than Semaglutide. In addition to mimicking GLP-1, it is also a glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor agonist. Together, these two hormones are able to affect signals sent to the brain around food intake. For this reason, it also aids with weight management.

What is it?

Targeted Fat Dissolving or Fat Melting Injections, also known as Lipolytic injections are non-surgical cosmetic procedures designed to eliminate stubborn fat deposits from various areas of the body. Targeted treatments can provide a flatter abdomen, more sculpted thighs, toned upper arms, reduce double chins and decrease overall body fat. No incisions are required and injections are virtually undetectable after treatment.

How does it work?

Fat melting injections contain phosphatidylcholine (PC), a naturally occurring compound in the body that aids in breaking down fat. When injected into a targeted area, PC works to dissolve fat cells, allowing the body to naturally eliminate them.
